Registration and Profiles
Update the Profile
How will people know you, and you them, when you study online? One way is for them to access your profile. In this session we will complete our individual profiles.
- Mouse-over your name in the top right hand corner of the UR e-Learning Platform screen;
- From the drop down menu select 'Edit profile';
- A new screen opens with some empty fields. Fill these in.
- Make sure that you do insert a short biography in the 'Description' textbox. This biography identify where you work, the subject or grade you teach, as well some some personal characteristics such as hobbies, sports or interests.
- Use the next box down to upload a photo. Click on the icon of a page with a plus sign in the bottom roght corner, see the figure right, and follow the instructions to upload a picture from your laptop. This photo is very important as it provides an 'avatar' for others to recognise.
- Finally click on the orange 'Update Profile' button to save your work.
