How to evaluate and report SBCPD activity

Teachers look at their teaching using the Teacher Competencies as a guide. They can assess student learning to see if their practices have had an impact on learning. Evidence of improvement can be stored in their portfolio. This can include lesson observation form, student assessment, CPD resource person comments and teacher comments, lesson plans etc.

HTs evaluate SBCPD activities using the school CPD plan and formal and informal meetings with CPD resource people. HTs submit CPD reports to SEOs. They also work with the sector or district CPD committee and share the strengths and priorities for the development of teachers in their school, and seek further resources and support where needed. Thus they communicate information from the district and sector to teachers and vice versa.
