                                      INDUCTION OF NEW TEACHER IN OUR SCHOOL

QUESTION1: State atleast three actions that you will do in our school to improve the support for new teacher.

QUESTION 2: Why do you select those actions?

QUESTION 3: How will those actions  improve the quality of teaching by the new teacher?

QUESTION4: How will you measure the success each action mentioned in question1

Three CPD actions that we will conduct are:

1. workshops

2. peer lesson observation

3.Lesson study

These activities will improve understanding,knowledge , skills, attitudes and values about teaching career; collaboration and learning from one another.The new teacher will get experience from other teachers and understand that collaboration is important in school environment to improve the quality of teaching and learning, and quality of education in general.

The success will be measured through follow up which intends to see the implementation of the above activities and reflection.

Apart from what colleagues said; in order to support new teachers induction, all schools staff has to be involved; and the SBM sits with NT for individual needs assessment, and then prepare CPD plan based on those  needs.
