 There are various tools, some  are simple others sophisticated that can help in this regard. we can investigate these tools and deliberate on their strengths and weaknesses.

1 Assessment is embedded into teaching and learning as an essential component;

2 Learners know and recognize the standards they are aiming from the start;

3 Learners are encourage to self-assess;

4 Assessment provides feedback which leads learners recognizing their next steps and how to take them;

5. Involves both learners and teacher reviewing and reflecting on assessment data.
