School-based CPD (SBCPD) is both flexible
and efficient because it is made to meet the needs of the group, uses their own
experience, and addresses real-world challenges.
It also:
- improves learners’ achievements
- produces high-quality solutions to problems
- clarifies ideas and solutions
- increases confidence, mutual relationship, and trust among all staff
- helps teachers support one another
- generates a pool of ideas, materials, and methods for future reference
- helps newly qualified teachers to get easily integrated into the school system
